Due to the governor’s executive order to shelter-in-place, we will be closing our church and offices until May 5th. If you have a need, please still reach out to us. Should you have an emergency, please call either Pastor Rick at (616) 437-5198 or Pastor Jeff at (810) 304-5053.
We will have will have a Zoom Sunday School class with Alex, look for the invite on our Facebook Group Page and we will be live streaming our worship service. You can find that on our home page at www.bethelmcyale.org, or our Facebook page or you can find us on the Boxcast app on Roku, AppleTV and FireTv. We are complying with the governor's order and CDC guidelines to allow essential services to continue operating during this crisis. The current situation has changed our location but the church is not the building. Here are some ways we can stay connected:
-
We understand that this situation is serious. We are taking precautions as we clean and disinfect (Especially door knobs and handles).
-
We encourage you to continue to practice social distancing and use good hygiene, with washing your hands frequently especially after using the restroom, blowing your nose or sneezing.
-
We encourage those who are in the highest risk groups (Senior citizens, or those with underlying health issues) to take extra precautions.
-
Let us agree in prayer that the physical effects and the fear this virus has caused will be removed and that those who are suffering would be restored.
-
Let us remember God has placed authorities over us and that we need to respect them.
-
Let us be careful and use wisdom with our words and actions in order that we display a Christ-like attitude even in this trying time.
We all need wisdom as we navigate this together. Thank you for being a valued part of our congregation.
Sincerely, the Pastoral Staff
